• 1. यह भर्ती किस पद के लिए है?

  यह recruitment उत्तर प्रदेश के अशासकीय अनुदानित महाविद्यालयों में Assistant Professor पदों के लिए है। कुल vacancies 1936 Posts हैं — Co-education colleges: 1564 और Women colleges: 372। ध्यान रखें कि आयोग ने यह भी लिखा है कि vacancies की संख्या घट-बढ़ सकती है।

• 2. Form कब से भरा जा सकता है?

  Advertisement और OTR/Application 08 September 2026 से शुरू हैं। Fee जमा करने की last date 07 October 2026, correction की last date 11 October 2026 और written exam 19 & 20 November 2026 है।

  ध्यान दें: 11 October correction date है, application/fee की last date नहीं। Fee/application process को 7 October तक complete करना जरूरी है।

• 3. क्या बिना OTR के form भर सकते हैं?

  नहीं। यह OTR Based Online Application System है। पहले One Time Registration (OTR) करना होगा, उसके बाद application किया जा सकता है। आवेदन केवल online mode से होगा।

• 4. क्या form Hindi में भर सकते हैं?

  Notification के अनुसार registration और application form English language में भरना अनिवार्य है। यहाँ students अक्सर गलती करते हैं, इसलिए नाम, qualification, category और अन्य details documents के अनुसार carefully fill करें।

• 5. Application Fee कितनी है?

  General / OBC / EWS / Others — ₹2000, SC / ST — ₹1500, PwD — ₹1000।

• 6. क्या केवल fee जमा करने से application complete हो जाएगा?

  नहीं। OTR और fee payment के बाद भी candidate को application को निर्धारित अंतिम तिथि तक पूरा करके submit करना होगा। केवल payment करने से application valid नहीं माना जाएगा। यही students की common mistake हो सकती है।

• 7. Basic Educational Qualification क्या है?

  Most regular academic subjects के लिए broadly eligibility है — relevant/concerned/related subject में Master's Degree, minimum 55% marks या grading system में equivalent grade। साथ ही सामान्यतः NET / SLET / SET qualified होना चाहिए।

  Applicable UGC regulations के अनुसार qualifying PhD holders को NET/SLET/SET exemption मिल सकती है।

• 8. मेरे Master's में 54% हैं, क्या मैं eligible हूँ?

  हर candidate के लिए answer समान नहीं होगा। General eligibility में minimum 55% prescribed है। लेकिन specified reserved/PwD categories को Master's level पर 5% relaxation दिया गया है, यानी applicable cases में requirement 50% तक हो सकती है।

  इसलिए सिर्फ 54% देखकर खुद को eligible या ineligible घोषित मत कीजिए — अपनी category और notification के relaxation clause को देखिए।

• 9. क्या NET अनिवार्य है?

  सामान्य rule में NET/SLET/SET qualification required है। लेकिन applicable UGC PhD regulations के अंतर्गत योग्य PhD candidates को NET/SLET/SET से exemption मिल सकती है। Notification इस exemption के लिए specific conditions बताता है।

  इसलिए केवल यह कहना गलत होगा कि “PhD है तो NET की जरूरत नहीं।” सही statement है — “Eligible PhD under prescribed UGC conditions may get NET exemption.”

• 10. क्या PhD करते हुए candidate apply कर सकता है?

  Notification eligibility को closing date तक required qualifications possess करने से जोड़ता है। अर्थात candidate के पास application acceptance की अंतिम तिथि तक prescribed essential qualification होनी चाहिए। इसलिए केवल “PhD pursuing” होना अपने आप completed PhD qualification नहीं माना जा सकता।

• 11. मेरा PG subject exact advertised subject जैसा नहीं है। क्या apply कर सकता हूँ?

  यह इस notification का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण section है। Commission ने कई subjects के लिए inter-related/equivalent subjects अलग से बताए हैं। कुछ useful examples — Hindi: Linguistics; English: Linguistics, Applied English; History: Medieval/Modern/Ancient History, Archaeology; Education: M.Ed.; Sociology: Social Work; Economics: Applied Economics; Political Science: Public Administration, International Relations।

  Highlight: Political Science → Public Administration + International Relations

• 12. क्या हर subject में related subject allowed है?

  नहीं। कई subjects के सामने notification में equivalent/inter-related subject “कोई नहीं” दिया गया है। इसलिए candidate को अपनी degree का नाम देखकर अंदाजा नहीं लगाना चाहिए। “Similar लगता है” ≠ “Officially equivalent है।” Final decision notification की subject-equivalence table पर होना चाहिए।

• 13. इस भर्ती में Age Limit क्या है?

  Age calculation date 01 July 2026 है। Notification में Assistant Professor post की superannuation age 62 years बताई गई है और 01 July 2026 को 62 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वाले आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किए जाएंगे।

  यह traditional 21–40 वाली competitive-exam age limit जैसा notification नहीं है; इसे अलग से समझना चाहिए।

• 14. Salary कितनी होगी?

  Pay Level-10, Pay Scale ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400। यह सिर्फ exam नहीं बल्कि regular Assistant Professor career opportunity है।

• 15. Written Exam कितने marks का होगा?

  Written Examination 360 Marks, Interview 40 Marks, Final Selection 400 Marks। Written exam में कुल 120 MCQs होंगे।

• 16. 120 questions में किससे कितने प्रश्न आएँगे?

  General Knowledge 30 Questions और Concerned Subject 90 Questions। आसान formula: 30 GK + 90 Subject = 120 Questions।

  Marks: 90 marks GK + 270 marks Subject = 360 marks। यानी GK को ignore करना बड़ी गलती होगी।

• 17. Exam कितने घंटे का होगा?

  Written examination की duration 2 Hours होगी। 120 questions के लिए कुल 120 minutes, यानी average 1 Question ≈ 1 Minute। इसलिए सिर्फ knowledge नहीं, speed + accuracy भी जरूरी होगी।

• 18. Negative marking है या नहीं?

  हाँ, और काफी important है। Correct Answer +3 marks, Wrong / Multiple Answer –1 mark। Board Formula: +3 : –1।

  इसका मतलब — 3 गलत answers = 1 सही answer के marks खत्म। इसलिए random guessing से बचना होगा।

• 19. क्या यह UGC NET जैसा Paper-1 + Paper-2 exam है?

  नहीं। यहाँ अलग-अलग Paper-1 और Paper-2 नहीं दिए गए हैं। एक written test में 30 GK + 90 Concerned Subject होगा। इसलिए students को UGC NET pattern को mechanically इस exam पर apply नहीं करना चाहिए।

• 20. GK की importance कितनी है?

  बहुत ज्यादा। 30 questions × 3 marks = GK 90 Marks, जबकि written examination 360 marks का है। इसलिए GK written examination का 25% है।

  याद रखें — “Subject आपका selection बनाता है, लेकिन GK आपकी rank बदल सकता है।”

• 21. Interview कितने marks का है?

  Interview 40 Marks का है। Final merit: Written 360 + Interview 40 = 400। इससे written examination का weight लगभग 90% बनता है, इसलिए सबसे बड़ा focus written पर होना चाहिए।

• 22. अगर दो candidates के marks बराबर हों तो क्या होगा?

  Notification में tie-breaking क्रम दिया गया है। पहले preference Written Exam marks, फिर Interview marks। इसके बाद prescribed qualification/PhD/JRF/NET आदि की स्थिति तथा आगे academic marks देखे जाएंगे; अंत तक equality बनी रहने पर अधिक आयु वाले candidate को higher position दी जाएगी।

• 23. Exam bilingual होगा?

  General question paper में questions Hindi और English दोनों में होंगे। लेकिन language subjects के questions संबंधित language में होंगे — जैसे Hindi → Hindi, Sanskrit → Sanskrit, English → English, Urdu → Urdu।

• 24. Exam online होगा या OMR?

  Notification के instructions से स्पष्ट है कि examination OMR Answer Sheet आधारित है। Candidate को black ball-point pen से circles fill करने हैं।

• 25. OMR में answer change कर सकते हैं?

  Notification के अनुसार एक बार circle भरने के बाद alteration स्वीकार नहीं होगा। Whitener, eraser आदि का प्रयोग prohibited है और OMR damage होने पर evaluation प्रभावित हो सकता है।

  याद रखें — “पहले सोचिए, फिर bubble भरिए।”

• 26. Reservation केवल UP candidates को मिलेगा?

  Notification कहता है कि UP reserved-category benefits के लिए applicable reservation conditions पूरी करनी होंगी। UP के मूल निवासी न होने वाले reserved-category candidates को UP reservation benefits नहीं मिलेंगे और उन्हें सामान्य category के रूप में treat किया जा सकता है। EWS के लिए भी UP rules के अनुसार prescribed certificate जरूरी है।

• 27. PwD candidates के लिए vacancies हैं?

  हाँ। Assistant Professor post को notification में विभिन्न identified disability sub-categories के लिए suitable बताया गया है, जैसे OA, OL, B, BA, LV, D, HH, LC, DW, AAV आदि। Notification का disability certificate format OA को One Arm affected आदि के रूप में भी define करता है।

• 28. क्या PwD candidate General/Unreserved vacancy पर भी compete कर सकता है?

  Notification के अनुसार यदि post relevant disability category के लिए identified है, तो disability वाला eligible candidate unreserved vacancy पर भी competition से वंचित नहीं किया जा सकता। यह बहुत important clarification है।

• 29. PwD candidates को extra time मिलेगा?

  Applicable provisions के तहत eligible PwD candidates को scribe facility मिल सकती है। Notification के अनुसार compensatory time 20 minutes per hour है — दो घंटे की exam होने पर eligible case में यह theoretically 40 minutes additional time बनता है।

  Scribe facility लेने वाले candidate को required details exam से लगभग एक सप्ताह पहले Commission office में register कराने की बात कही गई है।

• 30. Government/Private job में already working candidate apply कर सकता है?

  हाँ, लेकिन serving candidate को अपने employer से NOC प्राप्त करना होगा और Commission द्वारा माँगे जाने पर interview के समय प्रस्तुत करना होगा।

• 31. Application में गलती हो जाए तो क्या होगा?

  Correction का अवसर 11 October 2026 तक उपलब्ध है। लेकिन category, sub-category, DOB, gender आदि जैसी important entries को final submit करते समय बहुत सावधानी से भरना चाहिए; notification final submission के बाद ऐसी details में बदलाव को restrict करता है।

• 32. Photo और Signature का format क्या है?

  Signature — JPG/JPEG, 10 KB–200 KB। Photograph — 30 KB–300 KB। Certificates/documents — PDF, 50 KB–500 KB।

• 33. Form submit करने के बाद क्या करना चाहिए?

  Application की copies सुरक्षित रखें। Notification specifically candidate को submitted application की तीन copies भविष्य के लिए रखने को कहता है; interview के समय documents के साथ दो sets की आवश्यकता पड़ेगी।

• 34. Interview के लिए कैसे बुलाया जाएगा?

  Written exam marks के आधार पर shortlisted candidates को interview के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। Interview date/time/place की सूचना SMS, e-mail, newspaper और official website आदि के माध्यम से कम-से-कम लगभग 10 दिन पहले देने की बात notification में है।

• 35. Interview में documents भी verify होंगे?

  हाँ। Interview के समय educational qualifications, category certificates, application form और अन्य prescribed documents की self-attested copies तथा originals verification के लिए लाने होंगे।

• 36. College preference form भरते समय ही देनी है?

  Notification के अनुसार appointment के लिए college preference प्राप्त करने और college allotment का कार्य Director of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh द्वारा किया जाएगा। इसलिए इसे सामान्य application-form preference assumption से अलग समझें।

• 37. कौन-कौन से subjects में vacancies ज्यादा हैं?

  कुछ प्रमुख vacancies — Hindi 197, Chemistry 179, English 111, Botany 104, Economics 104, Commerce 102, Sanskrit 102, Physics 96, Political Science 95, Geography 95, Zoology 93, Sociology 82, Psychology 72, History 60।

  Official vacancy table में subject-wise तथा reservation-wise breakup दिया गया है।

• 38. क्या केवल NET preparation से यह exam निकल जाएगा?

  UGC NET preparation निश्चित रूप से concerned subject में strong foundation दे सकती है, लेकिन exam pattern अलग है। इस exam में 90 subject questions, 30 GK questions, +3/–1 marking और केवल 2 घंटे हैं।

  इसलिए preparation को UPESSC-specific MCQ + speed + accuracy + GK orientation देना होगा।

• 39. अभी preparation कैसे शुरू करें?

  Part A — Concerned Subject: 90 questions = 270 marks, सबसे बड़ा हिस्सा। Priority: Concept → PYQ-type MCQs → Topic Tests → Full Tests।

  Part B — General Knowledge: 30 questions = 90 marks, daily dedicated preparation करें।

  Part C — Exam Strategy: +3/–1 pattern के कारण Accuracy > Blind Attempt, और 120 Questions / 120 Minutes की timed practice जरूरी है।

• 40. November exam तक कितना समय है?

  Exam notification के अनुसार 19–20 November 2026 है। इसलिए preparation को long-term NET strategy की तरह नहीं बल्कि short, high-intensity exam strategy की तरह चलाना होगा।
