UGC NET SYLLABUS

Schedule for NTA UGC NET June 2024: The College Award Commission (UGC) has reconsidered the prospectus of all subjects (counting Paper 1) for June 2019 onwards. The new schedule has been arranged by the new and refreshed example of UGC NET test. The new example of UGC NET test depends on a PC (CBT) alongside a few different changes.

NTA UGC NET Syllabus June 2024

Public Testing Office (NTA) has been laid out in 2017 to lead placement tests for affirmation/cooperation in higher instructive organizations. The Public Testing Organization (NTA) has the obligation to direct JEE (Principal), NEET – UG, Normal Administration Affirmation Test (CMAT), GRADUATE Drug store Inclination TEST GPAT, UGC NET, and so forth.

Till July 2018, The Focal Leading group of Optional Schooling (CBSE) used to direct the UGC NET tests the nation over. Since December 2018, the UGC NET test is being led by the Public Testing Organization (NTA) as per the new example of UGC NET test.

Revised Pattern of UGC NET Exam:

NTA UGC NET June 2024 exam will be held in one session without any gap as under:

II 200 100 compulsory questions 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm (2nd Shift)
Note: There is no gap between Paper 1 and Paper 2.

UGC NET Syllabus Paper 1

It will be of general nature, planned to survey the instructing/research fitness of the competitor. It will basically be intended to test the ability to think, appreciation, unique reasoning, and general consciousness of the competitor. Paper 1 will comprise of 50 (fifty) mandatory numerous decision questions, and each question will convey two marks.

UGC NET Syllabus Paper 2

Paper 2 shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry two marks.

Note: There is no negative marking for an incorrect response. No marks will be given for unanswered/Marked for Review questions.

SCHEDULE OF UGC NET EXAM

The Test will consist of TWO papers having only objective-type questions. UGC NET exam will be held in one session as under:

*Candidates are advised to report at the Examination Center, at least 2 hours before the commencement of the examination. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the Examination Center after 8.30 am in First Shift and after 2.30 pm in Second Shift.

NET Exam Cut Off

The minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in UGC NET to be considered for the award of JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor in paper-I and paper-II is given below:
